On May 29, MediaTek announced its cooperation with Nvidia to provide a complete AI smart cockpit solution for software defined cars. The cooperation between both parties will fully leverage the advantages of their respective automotive product portfolios and jointly provide excellent solutions for the new generation of intelligent vehicles.

MediaTek stated that through this collaboration, MediaTek will develop an automotive SoC that integrates NVIDIA GPU chips, equipped with NVIDIA AI and graphics computing IP. This core supports interconnection technology, which can achieve smooth and high-speed interconnection and interworking between cores.

It is reported that MediaTek's intelligent cockpit solution will run NVIDIA DRIVE OS, DRIVE IX, CUDA and TensorRT software technologies, providing advanced graphics computing, artificial intelligence, Functional safety, information security and other comprehensive AI intelligent cockpit functions.

The Dimension Auto Car platform inherits MediaTek's professional technology accumulation in mobile computing, high-speed connection, multimedia entertainment and other fields, as well as the extensive Android ecosystem. Combining NVIDIA's core professional advantages in AI AI, cloud, graphics technology and software, as well as NVIDIA ADAS solutions, MediaTek will further comprehensively strengthen the Dimension Auto Car platform.
